IT'S POKEMON CONTESTS. FOR ARTISTS.It's like the appeal Contests that popped up in the Generation III and IV Games, except you draw them!
All you have to do is pick you favorite Pokemon and draw three pictures:
1. Your Pokemon all dressed up.
2. Your Pokemon doing a dance.
3. Your Pokemon doing an attack!
BUT WHY?BECAUSE YOU GET RIBBONS.
WHICH YOU EXCHANGE FOR PRIZES.
GLORIOUS PRIZES.
The first round is the
cool contest; signups end
March 22nd (you get more time to draw each round of course), so if you're interested then check out the club Journals for more info!

ALSOBig apologies for the lack of activity lately. University hasn't left me with a lot of spare time, and the internet down here is
abysmal. It just makes checking recent deviations an uphill struggle, when even the smallest of pictures takes a couple of minutes to load.

I'll regret this tomorrow when I have to do 4 weeks worth of work in a single night, but just the freedom to draw right now is such an amazing feeling.

Ah, well, I guess I kind of jumped the gun there. Maybe I'll make up for it by drawing something unnecessarily epic at the end.
FOUR FRAGGING WEEKS??? How in seven hells did you manage to do that?! All I can say is that I hope your work isn't as insane as mine was (it took me three days to pick up the pieces after being out sick for one day), and have fun drawing.
I know the feeling, it's just immensely satisfying to say, "screw this!" and randomly draw some crazy monster. Whoot.
